Adagio by Saint-George

Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-George is the earliest known classical composer of African descent. His Adagio (originally in Fmin for piano, here Gmin for recorders) is a rather charming piece and ahead of its Mozartean time.

To a Water Lily

It seems Edward MacDowell’s “To a Wild Rose” is famous, but I didn’t like it much. Instead I took his water lily from the same bundle of “Woodlands Sketches” and arranged it for 11 recorders: SAATBBBGGCC.
