Barbara Strozzi – Lamento Lagrime Mie

2019-11-08vicdiesel

I’ve done my own arrangement of a pretty, sad song by the 17th century composer Barbara Strozzi. The arrangement is slightly anachronistic, being full-on JS Bach baroque. Sort of.

Listen, enjoy, and why don’t you join my supporters on patreon, who are downloading the music as we speak and playing it with their friends?

Prelude for the left hand

2019-06-15vicdiesel Leave a comment

If it takes a pianist one hand to play a prelude by Scriabin, how many recorders does it take? Eh, how about eight?

Fun fact: the contrabass recorder plays only 10 notes, all low A.

This music has been released to my supporters on Patreon.
